A Tallulah, La., man faces grand larceny charges after his arrest Wednesday by Vicksburg police, Capt. Sandra Williams said.

Michael Lewis, 31, 107 Dickerson St., Tallulah, was picked up Wednesday in Tallulah by Vicksburg police investigators after he was released from the Madison Parish, La., jail where he was serving time on unrelated charges in Louisiana. He waived extradition to return to Vicksburg, Williams said. He was being held without bail at the Issaquena County Correctional Facility pending an initial appearance Friday.

Williams said the charges stem from a May 27 incident in which the rims were taken from a vehicle on Stillwater Drive.
