CLEVELAND — Doris Jean Mosley Andrews, 81, of Merigold, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at North Sunflower Medical Center.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Ray Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Mrs. Andrews was born March 1, 1935, to James Hubert Lane Mosley and Lee Lyon Mosley.
On Oct. 4, 1963, she married Robert Cecil Andrews in Cleveland. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Mrs. Andrews greatly enjoyed sports and would watch anything from bowling competitions to cheering on her favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals. In her free time, she could be found working puzzles, reading novels, playing cards, and cooking. Most importantly, her love for her family, friends, and grandchildren was strong and unwavering.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Hubert Lane Mosley and Lee Lyon Mosley; spouses, Bobby Hood and Robert C. Andrews; siblings, Lorene M. Steadman, Lavelle M. Robinson, Leatrice Mosley, Clifton Mosley, J.D. Mosley and Robert Mosley.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by her sons, Randy Andrews (Mary Jane) of Arley, Ala., Jeff Andrews (Penny) of Drew, Tod Andrews (Audra) of Vicksburg, and Bin Andrews (Robin) of Port Gibson; daughter, Gina Bailey of Merigold; grandchildren, Renee Fargason (Parick), April Denney (Jamey), Heather Love (Cason), Lane Andrews, Laura Beth Andrews, Michael Tod Andrews and Bailey Andrews; great-grandchildren, Ryan Denney, Hannah Katherine Denney, Logan Harris, Vivian Fargason, Reid Fargason, and DeAndre Fargason; siblings, Pearl Hutchison of Mobile, Ala., Earl Mosley of Cleveland, Haley Mosley of Amory and Rayburn Mosley of Cleveland.
Pallbearers will be Michael Tod Andrews, Benny Brooks, Johnny Robinson, Jimmy Hutchison, Lewis Marlon Mosley, Bobby Brown Jr., Lamar Andrews and Travis Andrews.
In memory of Mrs. Andrews, the family requests donations to be made to Baptist Children’s Village and/or Paw Prints Rescue.
