Jimmie Ruth Ross died Friday, July 8, 2016. She was 87.

Born in Meadville, she had been a resident of Vicksburg for the past 53 years. She was the daughter of the late Byrd Clark and Ida Holland Clark.
Mrs. Ross was a retired employee of Westinghouse Lighting Corp. She was a member of the Ladies Aglow Fellowship from 1975 to 1985, and Ladies Oasis Fellowship from 1985 to present.

She is survived by a son, Randy Alexander (Debra) of Mount View, Ark.; granddaughter, Dana Lynn Vines of Texas; and a great-granddaughter, Nikki Lynn Vines of Texas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Ross; one sister; and three brothers.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016, at Riles Funeral Home with Brother Roger Cresswell, pastor of Berachah Church, officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service.

A Family Interment service will be conducted.

Pallbearers will be friends.
