Ricky Lee ‘Whop’ Trim

HERMANVILLE — Ricky Lee “Whop” Trim died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 45.

A lifelong resident of Claiborne County, he was a graduate of Warren Central High School. In addition, he was also a member of the Carpenters Local #318 for a number of years and was a member of the Pattison Baptist Church.

Survivors include his fiancé, Cynthia Longoria of Port Gibson; his two sons, Zachary Trim and Nathan Trim, both of Port Gibson; and his parents, Henry “Bunny” and Dorothy “Boo Boo” Trim, both of Port Gibson.

Funeral services will be held noon Wednesday, July 27, 2016, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson with the Rev. Cliff Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hermanville Cemetery in Hermanville. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Trim, Mike Walker, Robert Hoover, James Hunt, David Oaks, Greg Woods, Michael Cooper and Mark Hinson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chuck Charrier, Everett Gatlin, Tim Hunt, John Perkins, Kenny Knight, Troy Bonta, Michael Hunt, Steve Trim, Randy Segan, Garnett VanNorman III and Daniel Butler.
