She was married to Herman Haynes, who preceded her in death in 1962.

She served as an usher for several church congregations, and was known for her ͞usher’s strut — head held high, a smile on her face and feet moving swiftly and with purpose.

On Monday, July 18, surrounded by family and friends at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, God saw fit to call her home. Beulah leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory her beloved mother, Georgia Kemp of Slidell, La.; daughter, Kimberly McDuffey (Argusta) of Slidell, La.; two sons, Anthony (Leslie) and Ronald Haynes of Bay Point, Calif.; two grandchildren, Christian McDuffey of Irving, Texas, and Jared McDuffey of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Willie C. Youngblood (Violet) of New Orleans; and goddaughter Lynae Washington.

She will also be missed by relatives and friends, nieces and nephews, including the Williams, Savage and Jones families.

Service is 10 a.m. Friday at Solomon Temple Ministries International, Pittsburgh. Burial will be at Oak View Park Cemetery.
