NEWELLTON, La. — Funeral services for James Carpenter Crigler are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at St. Joseph Baptist Church on with Dr. Harry Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery, Newellton under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the church fellowship hall at 1 p.m. immediately preceding the service.

Mr. Crigler, known as “Jimmie,” or “T.O.,” died Aug. 6, 2016, at his home on Lake Bruin, La. He was 96.
