The Vicksburg Swim Association will hold “Try It Week” Aug. 24-26, when all children 18 and under are welcome to attend and participate in the organization’s practices free of charge.
The practices will be held at City Pool each day, from 4 to 5 p.m. for swimmers 10 and under, and from 5 to 6 p.m. for swimmers 11 and over. No pre-registration is required, but a swim test will be given. All participants must demonstrate the ability to swim 25 yards — one length of the pool — without stopping.
