Three adults and two juveniles accused of stealing weapons from a home were held without bail Wednesday.

Kenneth Lee Jackson, 18, Robert Lee Jordan Jr., 18, and Leroy Barlow III, 18, were arrested and charged with residential burglary, Vicksburg police Lt. Troy Kimble said.

Several handguns and assault rifles were reported stolen Friday from a residence on the 200 block of Alfa Drive. Based on surveillance footage, it was determined the incident occurred Wednesday and all five suspects were identified, Kimble said.

All of the weapons except one have been recovered and Kimble expects it will be retrieved Wednesday. Kimble said the arrests were made because of painstaking work from the criminal investigation division.

The men will be arraigned Wednesday.

Man arrested for assault

A man accused of shooting another man in the leg was arrested.

Willie Dwight Harris, 29, was arrested and charged with possession of a weapon by a felon and aggravated assault in a July 31 incident, Kimble said. Harris was wanted on a probation violation and a warrant was served on him Sunday.

One held on warrant

A man with warrants for his arrest was held without bail Wednesday.

Alexander Zachary McFall, 20, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 3100 block of Washington Street, Kimble said.

McFall was discovered with two prison-style shanks on him as officers were recovering weapons from a burglary, Kimble said. McFall had a warrant on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for parole violation and had recently been released from jail for residential burglary, Kimble said.

Wire missing from business

Wire was missing Wednesday following a burglary reported Tuesday in Vicksburg.

At 12:43 p.m. Tuesday, several spools of copper valued at $1,200 were reported missing from a business on the 2400 block of Washington Street, Kimble said.

Any with knowledge about the burglary are asked to call the Vicksburg Police Department.
