John Edward Willoughby

John Edward Willoughby, 57, passed away peacefully at home August 16, 2016, after a long time illness. Johnny was born in Sunflower County on June 30, 1959, but has lived in Vicksburg since he was a small child. He was the eldest of four children born to J.C. Willoughby.
Johnny was of Christian faith and attended Elevate Church.
He was a well-known paint contractor in Vicksburg for most of his adult life.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, good movies and spending time with his family and friends.
Johnny is preceded in death by a sister Kimberly Willoughby of Carthage. He is survived by one daughter Kaitlin Wilson of Vicksburg; two sons Justin Ballard of Vicksburg and Justin Willoughby of Pearl; two brothers Tommy Willoughby of Carthage and Roy Willoughby of Missouri; two grandchildren, Josh and Madison Willoughby of Georgia; and special friend, Tamara Wamock of Vicksburg.
The service will be on Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at noon at the Glenwood Chapel.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens, visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
