A broken power pole on Culkin Road between the Pecan Ridge Apartments and Lake Forest Drive has knocked out power to more than 1,000 people in the Oak Ridge Road area of northeast Warren County.

According to Entergy Mississippi’s outage website, the outage affecting 1,184 customers was reported about 1:56 p.m. Entergy spokesperson Shelia McKinnis said officials do not know what caused the damage. Service is expected to be restored about 6:30 p.m.
