BATON ROUGE, LA. — Falcon Morgan, 81, died at his home Friday morning, Aug. 26, 2016.

He was a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a graduate of Catholic High School and attended LSU, and served in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division.

He retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation as real estate administrator. He was a parishioner of St. George Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Braud Morgan; his four children, Helene M. Benson (Rich) of Vicksburg; Kevin P. Morgan (Jonathan Timken) of Baton Rouge; Molly M. Gautreaux (David) of Suwanee, Ga.; and Erin M. Vignes (Mark) of Baton Rouge; his eight grandchildren, Christin B. Porte of Flagstaff, Ariz.; Stacy Benson of Las Vegas; Matthew, Amanda and Andrew Gautreaux of Suwanee, Ga.; and Allen, Bryan and Kathryn Vignes of Baton Rouge; sister, Ellen Prewitt; and brother Charles Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dotson and Lillian Bouy Morgan; sisters, Joycelyn Bennett, Marlene Morgan and Mary Marchand; and brother, Dotson Morgan Jr.

Visitation will be at St. George Catholic Church, Baton Rouge on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Michael Schatzle and the Rev. P. J. Curley.

Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park under the direction of Greenoaks Funeral Home of Baton Rouge.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic High School, Baton Rouge or the Morgan and Braud Memorial Endowment at Vicksburg Catholic School, Vicksburg, MS.
