SUMMIT (AP) — The Pike County sheriff’s office says two McComb residents have been charged with murder and conspiracy in the death of a man whose body was found in the Bogue Chitto River.
Chief Sheriff’s Investigator Greg Martin tells the Enterprise-Journal that 25-year-old Anthony Dauden and 26-year-old Bridget Dillon are being held without bond.
It was not immediately clear whether they had attorneys who could comment.
Dillon is a 2008 graduate of Warren Central High School.
They’re accused of killing 29-year-old Cort Gatlin. Martin says the state medical examiner found that Gatlin had been shot three times in the head.
Gatlin had been reported missing and was last seen on Aug. 26. His body was found Thursday.
