Alfred “Stanley” Harris, 61, passed away Sept. 12, 2016.

He was born in Vicksburg and lived here all of his life. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who worked at International Paper for 43 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ruth Harris.

He is survived by two daughters, Haley (Cliff) Kirby and Carrie (Ryan) Meyer; five grandsons, Logan Sanders, Brayden and Layton Truesdell, and Camden and Peyton Meyer; one sister, Nancy (Elma) Malone; three brothers, Charles (Annette) Harris, Dennis (Donna) Harris and Donnie (Gwen) Harris; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, at Immanuel Baptist Church at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
