Emily Conrad Knight

UTICA — Emily Conrad Knight died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family. She was 92.
A native of Vicksburg, she had lived most of her life in the Utica community where she was a member of the Claiborne County Homemaker’s Club, the VFW Auxiliary and was a member of the Midway Church of Christ.
She also was an artist and a poet.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jones Atlas and Laura Ella Gray Conrad; her husband, Everett Knight; her brothers, Cecil Conrad, David Conrad and Jones Conrad Jr.; and her sister, Annie Conrad Williams.
Survivors include her four daughters, Donna Kaye (Mike) Mobley of Utica, Cathy (Keith) Keller of Southport, S.C., Eva (Larry) Allen of Raymond, and Retha (Donnie) Cain of Vicksburg; her son, Danny Ray (Marianna) Knight of Brookhaven; her 10 grandchildren, Bradley (Len) Knight, Stephanie (Lee) Molaison, Zach (Kate) Mobley, Erin (Kevin) Duke, April (Greg) Hoffman, Kevin (Anna) Keller, Justin (Katie) Keller, Leah (Josh) Gilmore, Nathan Allen, and Anna Cain; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Utica Christian Church with Donnie Cain officiating.
Interment will follow in the Utica Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica.
Pallbearers will be Zach Mobley, Bradley Knight, Lee Molaison, Kevin Keller, Justin Keller and Nathan Allen.
