A look at how players from Vicksburg-area high schools did in college football and NFL games played over the weekend:
• Delta State defensive back Devontae Wilson (Warren Central) had a team-high eight solo tackles, one assist, and one fumble recovery in a 55-51 win over West Florida.
• Ole Miss offensive lineman Talbot Buys (Porters Chapel Academy) saw playing time in a 34-30 loss to Arkansas.
• Alcorn State’s Tavares Johnson, Jr. (Vicksburg High) played on special teams in a 23-20 win over Texas Southern and returned one kickoff for no gain.
• New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler (Vicksburg High) had two solo tackles, one assist, and three pass defenses in a 35-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
