Cecil Langley and Mary L. Langley

Cecil Langley and his wife Mary L. Langley died from injuries in an automobile accident, Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, in Vicksburg. Mr. Langley, 81, died at the scene of the accident and Mrs. Langley, 78, died at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Cecil Langley was born in Holly Bluff, the son of the late Robert G. Langley and Ava Williams Langley. He was a graduate of Satartia High School. He and his wife, Mary, had been married for over 30 years. Mr. Langley had been a resident of Vicksburg most of his life and was a retired construction surveyor. He attended Wilderness Baptist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Becky Crocker (Steve) of Vicksburg, Lois Hall (Chuck) of Pineville, La., and Leslie Madison of Vicksburg; four sons, Bob Harris (Lisa) of Vicksburg, Larry Langley (Sherry) of Madison, Mitchell Langley (Janice) of Clinton, and David Langley (Debbie) of St. Louis.
Mr. Langley is survived by a sister, Annie Grace Tucker of Long Beach; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lamar Langley; two brothers and one sister.
Mary L. Langley was born in Yazoo County and had been a resident of Vicksburg since 1986. She was a graduate of Satartia High School.
Mary and her husband, Cecil, had been married for over 30 years. She was employed by the Warren County Tax Collectors Office until her retirement in 1999. Mrs. Langley attended the Wilderness Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Becky Crocker (Steve) of Vicksburg, Lois Hall (Chuck) of Pineville, La., and Leslie Madison of Vicksburg; four sons, Bob Harris (Lisa) of Vicksburg, Larry Langley (Sherry) of Madison, Mitchell Langley (Janice) of Clinton and David Langley (Debbie) of St. Louis.
She is survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Langley leaves a half-brother and two half-sisters.
In addition to other family members she was predeceased by a son, Richard Lamar Langley; and other family members.
Services for Mr. and Mrs. Langley will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Riles Funeral Home with Brother Robert Conrad, pastor of Wilderness Baptist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 am Friday until the hour of the service.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City.
