Funeral services for Cedric Dion Gleese will be Sunday, Oct. 23, in Vicksburg City Auditorium at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Casey D. Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge. There will be a visitation held Saturday, Oct. 22, in the chapel from 5 to 7 p.m.
Cedric Dion Gleese passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 12, in the Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a sudden illness. He was 40. He was a car salesman at Cannon Toyota. He was active with the Warren County Raiders Youth Football team and was a 1994 graduate of Warren Central High School.
He is survived by his wife Stacey Carson Gleese of Vicksburg; his three sons, Cedric D. Gleese Jr., Carson Gleese and Carlton Gleese, all of Vicksburg; his five daughters, Shaniece Gleese, Shatriece Gleese, Ce’Dris Dionise Gleese, Diamond Heard, and Armani Gleese, all of Vicksburg; his father, Cornelius Walker of Vicksburg; his mother, Sheryl Gleese Walker of Vicksburg; his brother, Thomas Tubbs of Birmingham, Ala.; his sister, Alisha Pempton of Vicksburg; his maternal grandfather, Johnny Gleese Sr. of Vicksburg; and a host of aunts , uncles , nieces, nephews, cousins and others.
