MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla. — Sandra Lynn Watson Foote “Sandy”, of Melbourne Beach, passed away Sept. 29, 2016, following minor surgery.

Sandy was born Dec. 26, 1946, in Vicksburg. She graduated from H.V. Cooper High School in 1965 and attended Mississippi State University, earning a degree in computer science.

Sandy married Kenneth Foote June 8, 1985, in Laguna Beach, Calif.

Sandy was predeceased by her parents, Lyman and Vivian Watson of Vicksburg.

She is survived by her husband Ken; sisters, Judi Watson Hughes (Dalton) of Abilene, Texas, and Debbi Watson Craig (Gordy), Melbourne Beach; nieces and nephews, Lauren Craig Reda of Bradenton, Fla., Bryce Craig of Melbourne Beach, Kelly Hughes Minyard (CJ) of Pendergrass, Ga., and David Hughes, Atlanta.

Sandy lived in several states before retiring with her husband to Melbourne Beach.  She loved the beach life and being close to family there.

Sandy will be remembered for her generosity, loving heart, sense of humor, beautiful smile, and countless other qualities that made her so very special. We will miss her, until that time when we are all reunited.

A service celebrating her wonderful life was held Saturday, Oct. 1, at the home of her sister Debbi in Melbourne Beach.
