Funeral services for Paul David Banks will be Friday, Nov. 18, at Locust Grove M. B. Church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Johnnie Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.

There will be a visitation hour from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel Thursday.

Paul David Banks passed away on Friday, Nov. 11 at Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was 61.

He had worked for the city of Vicksburg in the Recreation Department. He was a member of the Locust Grove M. B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Don and Martha Lee Brown Banks Sr.; his brothers, Fredrick Banks and Eddie Brown; and his sister Margaret Harris

He is survived by his sons, Paul D. Banks Jr. and Lorenzo Williams, both of Vicksburg; his daughter, Martha Banks of Texas; his four brothers, Don Banks Sr., Ray Banks and Wallace Banks, all of Vicksburg, and Henry Banks Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and his sister, Donzia Harris of Vicksburg; and a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and others .
