Edward Leonard Lee Jr. died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 75.

Leonard was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg, where he was a graduate of Cooper High School and later receiving his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College, and added his master’s degree in business from Stanford University. He served for over 30 years as manager and president of the Mutual Credit Union here in Vicksburg.

He was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Frances F. Lee of Vicksburg; his daughters, Stephanie (Steven) Hansen and Stephanie (Billy) Leist, both of Vicksburg, and Dana Hawkins of Tucson, Arizona; his sons, Ryan (Lacy) Lee of Vicksburg, Corey (Kathryn) Schneider of Jackson and J.J. (Charity) Russum of Pelahatchie; his sister, Grace Rollison of Vicksburg; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be noon Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Buckles officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 am Friday until the hour of the service.
