James Bryant Robertson died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was 65.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, he was employed as a respiratory therapist. He was an avid golfer, sportsman and a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Crossway Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Joseph Robertson.

Survivors include his parents, James G. and Elsie Ethridge Robertson of Vicksburg; his brother, David (Marsha) Robertson of Long Beach; a nephew, Justin Robertson of Tallulah, La.; two nieces, Kimber Johnston of Long Beach and Karla Gorio of St. Amant, La.; and many other relatives.

The family will meet Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at 2:45 p.m. at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with a graveside service following at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Terry White officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kelly Bryant, Gary Bettis, Ed Brown, Johnny Walls, Eric Tindoll, David Harrell, Eddie Gilbert, Nick Robertson, Paul Flarraty, Joey Wright and Caroline Tingle.
