Dennis and Jennifer Coulter of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Mackenzie Ann Coulter, to Justin Lane Carter, the son of Lane and Mary Carter of Manistee, Mich.

Miss Coulter is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Fisher of Kilgore, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Coulter of Lenoir City, Tenn.

Carter is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Schneider and Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Carter, all of Portland, Mich.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of St. Aloysius High School and a 2014 graduate of Mississippi College School of Law, where she received her Doctor of Jurisprudence. She is currently employed as an attorney at Crews Grady, PLLC.

The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Bear Lake High School in Michigan and a 2009 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he majored in civil engineering.  He is employed as a structural engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers.

The wedding will be held at 6:30 p.m. on March 18, 2017 at the Hotel El Paisano in Marfa, Texas.
