Loretta Price Yates

Loretta Price Yates died Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 62.

Mrs. Yates was a native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Richard Price and Ruby Ethel Delkerscamp Price Hunt. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Yates was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Harper. 

She is survived by her husband, Chester Yates; two daughters, Lauren Genova (Don) and Kirsten Yates; two sons, Chuck Yates (Christina) and Chet Yates; seven grandchildren, Kady, Joseph, Abbie, Allie, Sarah, Ryan and Christopher; a sister, Julia Trawle; and a brother, Richard Price.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Riles Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. 

Pallbearers will be Wayne Herring, Josh Price, Carl Yates Jr., Eddie Nettles, Tony Barnes, John White, Jay Harper, and Billy Yates
