Vicksburg police are holding 10 adults and one juvenile for questioning in a series of auto and home burglaries, robberies and shootings during November, Lt. Troy Kimble said.

Kimble said the suspects were being held at jails in Issaquena and Copiah counties. The juvenile was being held at the Warren County Detention Center. He said charges were expected to be filed later Wednesday.

“This is an ongoing investigation,” he said.

Kimble said the suspects were picked up by police Tuesday during a roundup that began about 9 a.m. Tuesday and went until midnight.

“These crimes occurred from mid- to late November,” he said. “The shootings involve incidents where shots were fired at homes and people shooting at each other, but no one was injured.”

He said the crimes occurred across town, including areas on U.S. 61 South, Martin Luther King Boulevard, Farmer Street and Grove Street.
