M. Elise Robertson died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Merit Health River Region. She was 86 years old.

Elise grew up in Meridian and married Jamie there. She moved to Vicksburg in 1953, where she retired from BellSouth after 30 years. She loved her “Lunch Bunch” and “Birthday Girls” groups and their escapades over the years. There are many, many more friends that she shared great times with over her lifetime. She will certainly be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by two sons, J. Bryant Robertson and Keith J. Robertson.

She is survived by her husband, James G. Robertson of Vicksburg; a son, David (Marsha) Robertson of Long Beach; three grandchildren, Justin Robertson (Keely), Kimber Johnston (Casey) and Karla Gorio (Earl); six beautiful great-grandchildren that she loved; three sisters, Patsy Thomas, Francis Hoven and Brenda Ethridge, all of Meridian; and a brother, Wayne Ethridge of Alabama.

Visitation will be noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, 2016, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg with graveside services at 1:30p.m. at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with  Dr. Matt Buckles officiating.
