(G) St. Aloysius 28, Greenville-St. Joe 26 — Madelyn Polk scored 13 of her team-high 18 points in the third quarter, as St. Aloysius rallied from a 15-point halftime deficit to beat Greenville-St. Joseph on Saturday. Taylor Chewning scored seven points for St. Al, which outscored st. Joe 16-0 in the third quarter after trailing 22-7 at halftime.
(B) Greenville-St. Joe 56, St. Aloysius 35 — Nicholaus Council scored 21 points, but St. Aloysius’ boys’ junior varsity team lost to Greenville-St. Joseph. Dillon Johnson led St. Joe with 28 points and Cliff Courtney scored 11.
Scorekeepers, umps needed
Scorekeepers and Umpires are needed for the City of Vicksburg’s upcoming youth and adult softball and baseball seasons. Employment forms can be picked up at the Parks and Recreation office at 100 Army-Navy Drive. For more information, call 601-634-4514.
VSO registration open

Alcorn volleyball clinic
Alcorn State University will host a volleyball skills camp Jan. 21 and 22 at the Whitney Complex on the Lorman campus. The camp is for players in grades 3-12, and will be broken up into three age groups. On Jan. 21, players in grades 3-6 will have their camp from 8:30 to 11 a.m., and players in grades 4-7 will go from noon to 3 p.m.
On Jan. 22, players in grades 9-12 will have their camp from 9 a.m. to noon.

Kings basketball league
Registration for the Kings Empowerment Center’s 5-on-5 basketball league will continue through Jan. 27. There are three age divisions for the male basketball league — grades 6-7, grades 8-9 and grades 10-12.
The registration fee is $150 per team. The season begins Feb. 4 and continues through April 1, with a league tournament on April 8. Games are played on Saturdays. Registration forms can be picked up at the Kings Center, Monday through Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. For more information call 601-634-4788.
Hinds baseball camp
Hinds Community College will host its Winter Baseball Showcase on Jan. 21 at Joe G. Moss Field in Raymond. The camp is for players in grades 9-12. On-site registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. and the showcase at 12:30 p.m. The cost of the showcase is $75 per player.
