Deputies with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department arrested a man and a 13-year-old girl, and seized drugs with a street value of $5,000, weapons and money in a Saturday afternoon drug raid on a mobile home at 375 Glass Road in the LeTourneau community, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

“This location has been the scene of many drug arrests in the past,” Pace said. “Hopefully, this will be the last time we have to go out there.”

He said Frederick Julius Johnson, 32, who gave addresses of 375 Glass Road and 1151 Short Folk Road in Port Gibson, faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. He was being held without bail in the Warren County Jail pending an initial appearance in Justice Court. There is also a hold on him by the Mississippi Department of Corrections for probation violation.

Pace said the girl, who has been reported as a runaway from another state, was being held in the Warren County Youth Detention Center charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was not identified because of her age.

He said deputies executed a search warrant on the mobile home about 1 p.m. Saturday. When Johnson and the teen saw the deputies, he said, they ran into a nearby wooded area and were caught after a brief foot chase.

Inside the mobile home, deputies seized four ounces of what Pace said was “high grade” marijuana, .13 ounces of cocaine and crack cocaine, 30 pills of the drug Ecstasy, “Ice,” a high grade form of methamphetamine, and prescription painkillers oxycodone and Dilaudid. Deputies also seized two loaded 12-gauge shotguns, a .25-caliber handgun and $500 in cash.

Pace said the case remains under investigation and Johnson could face additional charges. He said more arrests are expected as the probe continues.
