Peter Flowers Jr. passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Merit Health River Region. He was 65.

He is survived by two daughters, Cortney Letson and Tracy Morris; five sisters, Annie Mae Marshall, Deyannah Flowers, Willie Mae Maxey (Charles), Victoria Mayfield, all of Vicksburg and Viola Cash (Ivy) of Woodbridge, Va.; a special friend, Marian Kirby of Saginaw, Mich.; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. with family present 6 to 7 p.m.
