Clair B. Birdsong

Clair B. Birdsong, 91, of Vicksburg died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at her home in Vicksburg.

She was born on Feb. 5, 1926, in Monticello to Frank and Zeller Brasseal.

She was a member of Bovina United Methodist Church and at the time of her death was the oldest living member.

Surviving are sons, Reed Birdsong (Darlene) of Vicksburg and Oscar David Birdsong, Jr. (Yvonne) of Vicksburg; one brother, Tom Brasseal of Ruston, La.; one sister, Ruth Suddeth (Ed) of McComb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar D. Birdsong Sr.; daughter, Lyla Birdsong; brothers, Harman Brasseal, Clyde Brasseal and sister, Faye Thompson.

Services will be at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at 1 p.m. with visitation from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.

Interment will be in Edwards Cemetery in Edwards.
