A 37 year-old man was killed in a single car accident early Saturday morning on the 5300 block of Gibson Road.

Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said Reginald Lamant Flaggs, 37, died after being ejected from his car when it overturned.

Flaggs was pronounced dead at the scene by deputy coroner Ron Regan. The accident occurred just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

A 35-year-old female passenger who was in the car with Flaggs was transported to Merit Health River Region by ambulance where she was treated and released. Neither Flaggs nor the passenger were wearing seat belts, Pace said.

Pace said Flaggs was driving a 2012 Ford Fusion eastbound on Gibson Road when he lost control causing the vehicle to overturn.

The accident remains under investigation by deputy Jessie Tilly and accident reconstruction specialist Connie Rickets.
