Johnnie Hall Mauck

Johnnie Hall Mauck, 83, Vicksburg, went to be with the Lord Nov. 24, 2017.
She was born in Anding and lived in Vicksburg most of her life. She was a beloved mother and devoted wife who was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Johnnie Mauck, was a math teacher at Warren Junior, she received her B.S. Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and her masters and specialist from Mississippi College. She began teaching in Warren County Schools in 1955 at Culkin and transferred to Warren Junior when it opened. Her hobbies included sewing, crochet and other types of needlework, country and western music; she also enjoyed her grandchildren and fishing.
She was co-owner of John’s Grocery on Highway 80 East.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Josephine Hall and brother J.A. (Pete) Hall.
She is survived by her husband John Mauck of Vicksburg, one son Randall Mauck of Vicksburg, one daughter Carolyn (Clyde) Mauck Kilgore of Edwards. Grandchildren John Jordan, Ray (Lindsey) Jordan, Michael (Hope) Jordan and Katie White. Numerous great-grandchildren and also numerous nieces and nephews.
A special thank you goes out to St. Joseph Hospice, and a very special thanks goes out to the caring souls of Maria and Catherine who care for her in her time of need. The family would also like to thank everyone who has shown their love with wonderful and delicious food that they shared with us in our time of need.

Service will be at noon Nov. 27, 2017, at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating the service. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens; visitation will be Nov. 27, 2017, from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Pallbearers will be Randall Mauck, Clyde Kilgore, John Jordan, Ray Jordan, Michael Jordan and Earl Fuson.
