A body has reportedly been discovered while Vicksburg firefighters were fighting a woods fire near Wigwam Road and Warrenton Road.

Firefighters responded to a call of a woods fire just after 3 p.m. today and soon after called for the Vicksburg Police Department and coroner to come to the area where a body had been found.

Currently, there are 130 Entergy customers without power on Warrenton Road. Officials are not sure if the power outage is related to the fire. The intersection of Warrenton Road and U.S. 61 South is currently blocked.
