A counterfeit $20 bill was reported passed at Popeye’s, Chicken & Biscuits, 3309 Pemberton Square Blvd., about 1:46 p.m. Wednesday.

In other cases:

• Shots were reported fired about 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Washington and Jackson streets.

Police made the following arrests Wednesday:

• Warrants were served on Kevin Earl Sanders, 34, 2515 Warrenton Road, about 2:04 a.m. at U.S. 61 South and Magnolia Road.

• Carlos Martinez Mitchell, no age or address listed, was arrested about 8:30 a.m. at the Vicksburg Police Department on a charge of domestic assault with hands and fists.

•Leon Walker Bryant, 40, 811 Central Drive, was arrested about 9 a.m. at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.

• James Marvin Hicks, 48, 204 West Drive, was arrested at the police department about 8:45 a.m. on charges of violating a protective order, trespassing and petit larceny.

• Adeleine Denise Bingham, 28, 400 Lakehill Drive, was arrested about 2 p.m. at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.

• Makayla Daishon Harris, 19, 508 Sparyd Road, Lorman, was arrested about 1:59 p.m. in the 100 block of Maxwell Road on charges of disorderly conduct — interfering with a customer and simple assault — creating fear.

• Bettye Jean Robertson, 45, 523 Hall Road, was arrested about 6:17 p.m. in the 500 block of Hall Road on charges of simple assault with hands and fists, petit larceny and possession of paraphernalia.

• 8:03 a.m., 900 block of Wabash Street, simple assault — bodily injury.

• 10:29 a.m., 600 block of North Poplar Street, simple assault — creating fear

• 10:54 a.m., 1100 block of Bowmar Avenue, petit larceny.

• 10:43 a.m., 100 block of Cossar Court, simple assault.

• 5:54 p.m., 1000 block of Warrenton Road, petit larceny.

• 9:47 p.m., Warrenton Road near Interstate 20, simple assault.

• A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a Vicksburg man on drug charges.

Anthony Dewayne Woodland Jr., 24, 203 Starlight Drive, is charged with possession Ecstasy and contempt of court. He was being held in the Warren County Jail Bond information was unavailable. Cleophus Dotson, 30, 516 Oakwood Drive, a passenger in the car with Woodland, was arrested on a city warrant charging him with contempt of court.

Woodland was stopped about 2:05 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Porters Chapel Road and Carlton Place after running a stop sign at intersection of Indiana Boulevard and Porters Chapel.

• Shots were reported fired about 11:11 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Cairo Drive.

• Shots were reported fired at the intersection of First North and South streets about 6:44 p.m.

Police also made the following arrests Tuesday:

• Robert Preston Wilson, 30, 1053 Hall Addition No. 2, Montgomery, La., was arrested about 2:02 a.m. at the Vicksburg Police Station on a charge of contempt of court.

• Kegan Micah Brown, 25, 1019 Deryll St., Jackson, was arrested about 3:23 a.m. on Monroe Street on charges of harassing phone calls — indecent, failure to stop motor vehicle when officer signals, reckless driving, expired or no driver’s license, no proof of insurance and speeding over 30 mph.

• Stacia Cherre Washington, 26, 213 High Hill Drive, Jackson, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. at the police station on a charge of contempt of court.

• Demond Kendell James, 38, 2727 Alcorn Drive Apt. 24, was arrested about 2:31 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 61 South and Cain Ridge Road on a charge of contempt of  court.

• Joel Alexander Johnson, 22, 1116 Fayette St., was arrested about 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Clay Street and Mississippi 27 on two counts of contempt of court.
