Lorine Belknap died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at the Shady Lawn Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was 79.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, she enjoyed playing guitar, the accordion, was an accomplished artist and enjoyed life.

She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death her parents, Charlie Thelman and Ledora Inez Sheren Neal.

Survivors include her husband, John Belknap of Vicksburg; her daughter, Sharron Kirkpatrick Johnson of Collins; her sons, Butch Quick of Pelahatchie and Dewayne Quick of Puckett; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Abel officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon Friday until the hour of the service.
