William “Joe” Joseph Tinsley died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at his home peacefully. He was 58 years old.

He was born in Vicksburg on Sept. 5, 1959, and had lived in Utica his whole life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Faye B. Tinsley and Dorothy Beasley Tinsley.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ellen Pearson Tinsley; his baby girl Candace Tinsley Grimshel (Gus); and two grandchildren, Lane and Sam Grimshel; and brothers, Mike, David, Jimbo, and Tommy Tinsley; numerous nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be at Utica Christian Church Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. with burial in Utica Cemetery.
