Mary Louise Dotson, 48, passed away at Merit Health Vicksburg Saturday, Feb. 3.

Ms. Dotson resided in Port Gibson.

Friends and family will celebrate her life in a funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 at Awesome Christ Warrior’s Outreach Tabernacle in Port Gibson. Burial will follow in McCAA Cemtery in Russum.

Ms. Dotson is survived by a daughter, Nakia Dotson; grandchild, Kimontae Drutison; mother, Mrs. Johnnie R. Dotson; finance, Harry L. Queen, all of Port Gibson; sisters, Brenda Chambers and Virginia Dotson of Port Gibson; and Terrie Jones of Vicksburg; brothers, Joe Clark Sr. and James Dotson Jr., both of Port Gibson; uncles, Elvin Clark of Vicksburg, Ellis Clark of Lorman, Julius Clark of Port Gibson and Albert tHomas of Fayettee; aunts, Bertha Dotson of Port Gibson, Annie Mae Clark of Lorman, Irene Brown and Betty Clark of Vicksburg; godsister, Tracy Wells of Port Gibson; goddaughter, Geozanera Turner of Hermanville; a special great-great nephew, JI’rah Amith of Port Gibson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 1 to 6 p.m. Friday at Rollins Funeral Home.
