Amos is accused of shooting into an apartment occupied two adults and a child Wednesday about 8 p.m. Officers responding to the call of shots fired found bullet holes in the front door of the apartment and throughout the dwelling.

Police later stopped a car matching the description given by witnesses as the vehicle that may have been involved in the shooting, and Amos, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested on an unrelated misdemeanor charge. Officers also found a gun that was later reported to have been stolen from Texas during a search of the vehicle.
