Funeral services for Corean Dixon Cooper will be Saturday, March 10, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness at 11a.m. with the Elder Willie Gross officiating; interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.
There will be a visitation hour from 6 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home Friday, March 9.
Corean Dixon Cooper passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, in Milwaukee, Wis., following a brief illness. She was 76.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Geneva Johnson Dixon Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Roosevelt Cooper II of Vicksburg; her son, Roosevelt Cooper III also of Vicksburg; her two daughters, Paula Cooper Lampley and Zita Cooper Hoskins, both of Milwaukee, Wis.; and her sister, Jessie Chambliss of Vicksburg; and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; and others.
