Keep up with the latest on the school bond election

We will be providing updates on the Vicksburg Warren School District $83 million school bond referendum throughout the night. Polls close at 7 p.m.

7 p.m.: Polls are closed. Election officials say voter turnout is lower than countywide elections. There are approximately 300 absentee ballots and approximately 100 affidavits that must be tabulated. Results should be completed around 7:45 p.m.

7:20 p.m.: According to the most recent numbers, there are 31,239 registered voters in Warren County.

7:25 p.m.: There are 263 absentee ballots, plus the affidavits.

7:35 p.m.: Results from Vicksburg High School – 922-364 or 72% FOR the school bond.

7:50 p.m.: Results from Warren Central High School – 1367-573 or 70% FOR the school bond. The referendum has passed.
