Joann Marie Wilson Masters

Joann Marie Wilson Masters of Eagle Lake went to her Heavenly home Sunday, March 25, 2018.

She was born in Vicksburg on January 21, 1943, and attended Redwood High School. She later traveled extensively with her husband, Phil, including areas in Japan, Guam and the Philippines. Joann received a floral design certificate during this time.

She enjoyed her beautiful flowers and plants, the outdoors, reading, gorgeous sunsets at her lake home and family gatherings.

Lakeside, Ariz., was her home for many years before returning to Vicksburg to be close to her loved ones.

Joann was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Masters; her parents, D.A. Wilson Sr. and Evelyn Robinson Wilson (Hull); one sibling, Mary Elizabeth Wilson; her brother-in-law, Charles K. Rose; one niece, Tara Lynn Ogle; her stepfather, Albert F. Hull; and her stepmother, Mary Wilson.

Survivors include her siblings, Elaine Wilson Rose, Marilyn Wilson, Donald Wilson, Jr., Neil Hull, Linda Hull Meister (Michael), Brenda Wilson Allred, Barbara Wilson Copes, Kathy Wilson Jobe and Glenn Wilson; her nieces, Allison Rose Stankiewicz (Brian), Dana Lee Ogle Uzzle (Shannon), Tondia Marie Ogle Ferracci (Johnny) and Karen Wilson Ingram; her nephews, Philip Neil Rose (Leanna) and Rodney Justin Ogle; her great-nieces, Alden Rose, Peyton Bryan (Adam), Evelyn “Eve” Marie Ferracci, Mary Elizabeth “Elli” Ferracci, Maylee Stankiewicz, Ava Ray Dale and Cecelia Uzzle; and her great-nephews, Payne Jones, Lawson Stankiewicz, Ian Rose and Owen Rose.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service.
