Gary Zachary Smythe Jr. died at Merit Health River Region Saturday, March 24, 2018. He was 60.

“Zac” was the son of the late Gary Zachary Smythe Sr. and Nancy Good Smythe.

He is survived by his wife, Carla Simpson Smythe; his daughters, Michelle Vinson and Brittanie Smythe; and his sister, Rose Smythe Fowler (George).

Zac is survived by his cousins, Daniel Boone (Lesley Silver) and Kenny Boone (Tammi).

Visitation will be Monday, April 2, 2018, at Riles Funeral Home from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah, 301 Cain Ridge Road.

Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Messiah.
