Jack P. Davidson Jr., was born Nov. 29, 1960. He departed this life for a new adventure in heaven Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Merit Health Center in Jackson due to heart failure.
Jack was a member of Edwards United Methodist Church. He graduated from Warren Central High School and attended the University of Mississippi. Over the years, he was employed at 911 Emergency in Vicksburg, Mississippi Emergency Management in Jackson, and the city of Baton Rouge, La.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Beverly Davidson; sister and brother-in-law, Robyn and David Hamilton; brother, John Allen Davidson; nephews, Justin (Angie) Hamilton and Chase Hamilton; and nieces, Kelly R. Hamilton, all of Edwards; aunts, Wilma (Sherwood) Lyons of Vicksburg, Nadine (Kenneth) Wilson of Winnsboro, La., Brenda Raney of Bee Bayou, La., Lola Greeson of Pflugerville, Texas; and uncle, Charles (Joyce) Tatum of Mobile, Ala.; and great-aunts, Flora H. Burris of Monroe, La., and Myrtis Ford of Vicksburg; as well as numerous cousins and many devoted friends.
Visitation will be at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg Friday, April 27, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A graveside service will be Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Edwards Cemetery in Edwards with the Rev. Elizabeth Piazza and the Rev. John Edwards officiating.
Pallbearers are Bill Jeffers, Glenn Jones, Craig Williamson, Jon Williamson, Jerry Davidson, Johnny Davidson, Nolan Bullen, Allen Lyons, Justin Hamilton and Chase Hamilton.
