Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Alexis Baylot Jr. of Vicksburg and Lt. Col. and Mrs. Franklin Eugene Tackett of Flowood announce the engagement of their daughter, Kirsten Faith Tackett to Stephen Austin Golding, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Dudley Golding of Vicksburg.

Miss Tackett is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Alexis Baylot Sr. of Vicksburg, the late Mrs. Vannie Dora Tackett and the late Mr. Herman Eugene Tackett Jr. and Mr. Roger Warren Boles and the late Mrs. Dennis Boles.

Mr. Golding is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Henry Golding of Vicksburg, Mrs. Lois Swaney Shipp of Holly Springs and the late Mr. Frederick Earl Swaney.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Warren Central High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mississippi College.

She is employed at Golding Barge Line, Inc. in Vicksburg.

The groom-elect is a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he majored in marketing and sports communication.

He is the president of Golding Barge Line, Inc.

Reverend David A. Elliot, III will be officiating the wedding at 6 p.m. April 14, 2018, at Golding Barge Line in Vicksburg. A reception will follow at the same location.
