Vivian Quinn Atwood

Vivian Quinn Atwood of Vicksburg passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the age of 87.

She was born in Gastonia, N.C. on July 26, 1930, to the late Garland Roscoe Quinn and Frances Pearson Quinn. She graduated from Gastonia High School and attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C.

She is survived by her daughter, Vivian June Atwood of Pelahatchie; sons, Emmett Ray Atwood Jr. (Valerie) of Vicksburg, David Garland Atwood of Vicksburg and Alan Quinn Atwood (Donna) of Vicksburg; grandchildren, Julie Haynes (Larime) of Vicksburg, Chase Atwood (Angela) of Germantown, Tenn., Brittney Daigre (Heath) of Vicksburg, Beth Atwood of Vicksburg, Quinn Atwood of Seattle, Wash., Justin Atwood (Shelbie) of Vicksburg and Hunter Atwood of Starkville; great-grandchildren, Kailey Knight, Larime Haynes II and Laden Haynes, all of Vicksburg, Addison Atwood and Ellie Grace Atwood of Germantown, Tenn., Heath Daigre Jr. and Hayes Daigre of Vicksburg and Ryleigh Atwood of Vicksburg; and ex-husband, Emmett Atwood (Camille).
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home with the service at 2 p.m. at the Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chase Atwood, Quinn Atwood, Justin Atwood, Hunter Atwood, Wayne Cummins and Donald Carter.
The family wishes to personally thank Pam Standish of Vicksburg for taking such good care of Vivian.
