Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Hall Flynn Cooper will be Friday, June 1, at the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mincer Minor Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m.

Gloria Cooper passed away Wednesday, May 23, at Merit Health River Region following a brief illness.  She was 83.  She had worked as an operator for Wal-Mart and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Clara Whitting Hall; her brothers, Henry L.C. Hall, Eugene Hall, Joe Louis Hall, Percy Hall, Stacey Hall, Charlie Hall and Frankie Hall; her sisters, Stella Hall and Virginia Anderson.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Hall Farrell of Highland, Calif.; her sisters, Christine Hall Jackson of Vicksburg and Shirley Hall of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
