Bond set at $75K for alleged shooter

Bond has been set at $75,000 for a Vicksburg woman charged with aggravated assault in the Friday shooting of another woman during an argument at Waltersville Estate.
Vicksburg police Sgt. Johnnie Edwards said Trameka Shanneal Coney, 32, 30 Kings Drive, is accused of pulling a gun shooting Roshonda Pare Smith, 27, 90 Kings Drive, in the hip during the disturbance. The shooting occurred while police were at Smith’s home after responding to a call about a runaway.
She was taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she was last listed in stable condition, police said.
In another case, Kelvin Andrew Jackson, 19, 111 Starlight Drive, is charged with attempted burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary, in the June 21 attempted burglary of 601 Sports, 3500 Pemberton Square Blvd. He was being held in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $40,000 bond.
Police on June 22 arrested Kalani Lashon Hall, 19, 2212 Grove St., and a 17-year-old juvenile accused of trying to break into the store. Hall remains in the Warren Count yJail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
In other cases:
• A counterfeit $20 bill was reported passed Monday at Ameristar Casino, 4116 Washington St.
• A pink Kate Spade purse was reported taken about 7:57 p.m. Sunday from a 2018 Subaru Outback parked in the 3000 block of Indiana Avenue.
• A 2001 Ford Crown Victoria was reported taken about 5:03 a.m. Saturday from the Circle K, 3060 Indiana Ave. It was later recovered in Jackson.
• Two Dell laptop computers, change and black gloves were reported taken about 7:46 a.m. from the Vicksburg Car Store 2800 Clay St.
• A miter saw, chargers and batteries, hammers, wrenches and a circular saw were reported taken about 5:10 p.m. Friday from a home in the 1100 block of Harrison Street.
• A Rand McNally 540 GPS was reported taken about 6:55 a.m. Friday from a 2005 Ford Ranger parked at the Motel 6, 4137 I-20 Frontage Road. At the same time, an 8-inch Garmin GPS, 20-volt DeWalt battery, check from a checkbook, cell phone booster, 261/2-inch Kicker speaker and a Samsung Galaxy 7 phone were taken from a 2000 Dodge pickup parked at the Motel 6.
Police made the following arrests between Friday and Sunday:
• Buffie Deshannon Findley, 44, 2909 Drummond St., was arrested about 7:58 p.m. Sunday in the 80 block of Wigwam Road on a charge of contempt of court.
• Aneisha Deshia Williams, 22, 2618 Roosevelt Ave., was arrested about 4:35 p.m. Sunday at Mulberry and South streets in a charge of contempt of court.
• Shykearya K. Marshall, 20, 2089 Valle of the Moon Road, Hermanville, was arrested about 2:01 a.m. Sunday, on Pemberton Boulevard on a charge of improper lane use and driving with a suspended license.
• A warrant was served Saturday on Joe Rushing Jr., 46, 1517 First North St.
• Warrants were served Saturday on Colby Terrell Williams, 30, 718 North Poplar St.
• Daniel Edward Stokes, 24, 1002 Boy Scout Road, was arrested about 3:26 a.m. Saturday at Clay Street and Mississippi 27 on two counts of contempt of court.
• Kenneth Neal Blackmore, 41, 2223 Pearl St., was arrested about 12:27 a.m. at Washington and Clark streets on a charge of public drunkkeness.
• A warrant Friday was served on Larry Carnail Knight, 26, 1205 China St.
• Austin Lee Grammer, 22, 90 Porters Chapel Road, was arrested about 10:05 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of Halls Ferry Road on a charge of simple assault.
• James Hunter Taylor, 24, 90 Porters Chapel Road, was arrested about 10:05 p.m. Friday in the 4300 block of Halls Ferry Road on a charge of contempt of court.
• Sabastian Giurintano, 51, 426 Summerville Drive, Madison, was arrested about 9:55 p.m. in the 4100 block of Washington Street on a charge of trespassing.
• Charlette Lacole Taylor, 32, 2006 Cherry St., was arrested about 10:52 a.m. Friday at the Vicksburg Police Department on charges of simple assault and two counts of contempt of court.
• Jennifer Anita Faye Evans, 21, 121 Pemberton St., was arrested about 10:38 a.m. at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.
• Raymond David Reed Jr., 30, 812 Meadow St., was arrested about 10:04 a.m. Friday at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.
• Alanna Sherrie Harris, 40, 108 Cooper St., Tallulah, was arrested about 9:05 a.m. Friday at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.
• Donnell Otis Stewart Judge, 41, 535 Watkins Drive, was arrested about 8:24 a.m. Friday at the police department on two counts of contempt of court.
• Sylvester Robertson, 50, 1184 Moore Road, Port Gibson, was arrested about 8:24 a.m. Friday at the police department on a charge of contempt of court.
