Omarosa is just an opportunist

I would love to have been a fly on the wall after Savannah Guthrie interviewed Omarosa Onee Manigault Newman, better known as Omarosa.
I image Guthrie, along with fellow NBC “Today Show” anchor Hoda Kotb, had quite the conversation after Omarosa’s dog and pony show.
From the yellow garden party dress she wore to her insolence towards Guthrie, it was obvious Omarosa was there to entertain and promote her book!
Omarosa is known by many from her involvement in the reality television circuit, and now, also, because of her little more than yearlong stint at the White House. I am not into reality television shows except those on HGTV, so I didn’t know who Omarosa was until I saw Chuck Todd interview her Sunday on “Meet the Press.”
During this interview, Omarosa was a bit more subdued and professional even down to her choice of clothing.
However, that was not the case on the “Today Show,” which aired the following Monday morning. The interview with Guthrie almost felt like Omarosa was purposely trying to demean Guthrie.
And Guthrie is no lightweight, fluff only, reporter. Before taking the position as the co-anchor at the “Today Show,” she served as an NBC News White House correspondent, someone well versed at how “things work” in Washington.
During the interview, I noticed there were several times Omarosa held her hand up in front of Guthrie as if she was shushing her. Then when Guthrie could finally get a word in, she asked Omarosa if she had knowledge as to the kind of man President Trump was, why had she chosen to serve in his administration.
It was at this point Omarosa cut the interview off, acting like she knew Guthrie was out of time and just said, “read my book.”
How lame! And as I said earlier, this was a dog and pony show by Omarosa.
As the week has gone on, I have thought more about this interview and have come to the conclusion that Omarosa, is nothing more than an opportunist looking for her five more minutes of fame.
In a quest to learn more about this woman, I turned to Google and was intrigued at the large number of reality television shows in which she has participated. Not only has she been in several of Donald Trump’s productions, she has also been in episodes of “Girls Behaving Badly” and “The Surreal Life.”
I’m not poo-pooing on these reality shows, but I am just making the point that this woman likes performing, and her routine on Monday with Guthrie was a doozy.
Don’t mistake my calling out Omarosa as a statement of my support for some of the President’s behavior or that I am against whistle blowers. I am only pointing out that, to me, Omarasa is not the woman she is claiming to be.
You don’t help the country by violating rules.
One can only wonder, what lengths she must have gone to conceal her recording device for one, and secondly, how she hid it so that it would still record clearly?
This was a calculating and cunning move on her part, and now she wants us to trust what she has revealed in her book?
If she has no qualms about being deceitful when national security is involved, I feel certain she would have no problem deceiving her readers.
I think Omarosa is a fake, and so I will not be dropping dollars on her book.
There are way too many other good reads out there than to waste my time on a so-called tell-all book by a person like Omarosa.
