Jontaye Quontelle Jones and Charles Edward Winston Jr., both of Vicksburg, announce their engagement.

Miss Jones is the daughter of the late John H. Reed Sr. and the late Wanda K. Jones and the granddaughter of Ivera and Caleb Kelly of Vicksburg and the late Roxie Sims. Mr. Winston is the son of Charles E. Winston Sr. of Vicksburg and the late Mageline Williams-Winston. He is the grandson of Rayfus and Charlene White of Prentiss and the late James and Marie Winston.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Warren Central High School where she was a member of the 4-H Club, Future Business Leaders of America Club, Key Club and DECA. She attended Virginia College where she studied cosmetology. She is employed at Ameristar Casino.

Mr. Winston is a 2009 graduate of Warren Central High School where he was a member of the football team He is also a graduate of Hinds Community College where he received an associates degree in computer science and a graduate of Alcorn University where he received a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is employed at Pizza Hut.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. Dec. 22, 2018, at the Greater Grove Street Missionary Baptist Church in Vicksburg. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
