Funeral services for Ronnie Gaines were held on Saturday, Dec. 1 in the chapel of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Caples officiating; interment followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Ronnie Gaines passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, in the Merit Health River Region Medical Center following a brief illness. He was 57.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Kelly and Ruby Gaines; his brothers, Freddy Butler and Tim Roby.

He is survived by his five brothers, Walter Gaines, Martell Watson, Michael Gaines, Michael Roby and Sam Roby, all of Vicksburg; his nine sisters, Geraldine Eatmon, Yvonne Dollison, Greta Roby, Pamela Gaskin, Yolanda Weathers, Georgia Dent, Shawanda Swayzer, Patricia Caples and Atina Watson, all of Vicksburg.
