Sue N. (Tom) Lee, age 80, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Toisan, China, to Wing Suey Tom and Sing Tom. She grew up in Vicksburg, then married Steven Lee and moved to California. The family relocated to Tucson, Arizona, in 1971.
Sue worked hard all her life as a grocery store owner of Lee On Market in Tucson and then co-owner of China Doll Restaurant in Vicksburg with her sister. She was an awesome cook and baker. She had a green thumb, was a Snoopy lover, all little kids adored her, and was always complimented on her flowery hat! Although she had many health issues, she never complained and stayed strong for us. We will miss “Ma” and she will forever be in our hearts.
Sue is survived by her daughters, Debbie, Barbara, and Carol Lee; her siblings, George Tom (Jade), Joe Tom (Judy), and Lilly Bradley (Richard); members of the Lee Family, and many cherished cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at Riles Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
